Ride the Green and Yellow Bay Town Trolley

The distinctive green and yellow Bay Town Trolley buses are a familiar site to anyone who has spent any time in Panama City Beach. It is an economical way to travel most anywhere you might wish to go on your vacation. With increased ridership, hours have been extended and new red and green trolleys have been added.
In addition to single ride fares and transfers, there are very affordable daily and monthly passes.
There are eight routes, six serving Panama City and two serving Panama City Beach. There are also plenty of places to make connections between routes. If you’d like to use the trolley, we recommend
going to their site and downloading the current route maps and timetables.

- Panama City Airport is serviced by route 5
- The Greyhound Bus Station is serviced by route 4
- Panama City Mall is serviced by routes 1, 3, 5 and 6
- Gulf Coast Community College is serviced by routes 4, 5, 6 and 7
- The East end of the Beaches is serviced by Route 7
- The West end of the Beaches is serviced by Route 8
There are a few tips to keep in mind when using this bus service. You can pay a single fare or buy a pass right on the bus, but you need exact change. It runs from 6 am to 8 pm weekdays, so don’t plan on it for weekend or evening travel. Children 5 and under are free. Students and Senior Citizens ride at reduced fares.
