Bumper Boats, Go Carts and More!

Emerald Falls

Emerald Falls Bumper BoatsRiding the bumper boats is one of several fun family activities at Emerald Falls Family Recreation Center. Located on Thomas Drive, the Giant Octopus that dominates the front of the mini golf course and the emerald water falls make this place hard to miss. The facility is about a block long and there is more than one entrance, so think about what you want to do and park accordingly.

Emerald Falls Kiddie Ride

For families with young children, there are five kiddie rides as well as the Grand Preschool Kiddie Track.

These rides are perfect for young children and can be purchased individually or in packages. Emerald Falls Kiddie RideThe Kiddie Track is a great place for a first experience driving instead of riding in a go cart. For the other rides, one thing to keep in mind is the kiddie rides are operated in rotation, so if you want a specific ride, you may have to think about the timing.

Emerald Falls OctopusIn addition to bumper boats, the two mini golf courses are great family fun. The red course goes around the front and the yellow course goes all the way up to the top. It is an older course, but none the less fun.

Emerald Falls Alien ArcadeThe Alien Arcade has a wide variety of games such as DDR, Guitar Hero, pinball, skee ball and more, however, there are not many games for little kids. Additionally, there is an air hockey table and a Virtual Roller Coaster ride. If you're short on tickets for that coveted prize, extras can be purchased with tokens. There is also an ATM available.

Emerald Falls VortexThere are two go cart tracks with 9 hp cars in addition to the kiddie track. You need to be 56” to drive on the Vortex and a bit shorter for the Formula track or 36” to ride. You also need to be at least 16 to have a passenger.

Emerald Falls Formula TrackYou can enjoy two completely different go cart experiences at Emerald Falls. The Vortex is a wooden track that spirals 3 levels high. The Formula track is a smooth concrete track with more of a double figure eight configuration. For those who want to watch or take pictures, there is also an observation deck which gives a great view of the Formula track and the boats.

At Emerald Falls, any activity can be purchased individually, but for savings check out the package deals. The Vortex and Formula packages offer substantial savings if you want to do a go cart track, bumper boats and one of the mini golf courses.
