Coconut Creek has a Unique Maze plus Mini Golf
Coconut Creek Family Fun Park on Front Beach Road has been one of our family favorites for many years. The two 18 hole mini golf courses have a Safari theme that is very attractive to kids. The human maze is a unique and fun challenge and they do change the path to keep it fun year after year. We definitely recommend the pay one price all day pass, since it allows you to use the maze and both mini golf courses. We like to go in the morning or early afternoon when it’s less crowded. We also get 2 days worth of adventure for the price of one since the pass is good from the time of purchase until 5 pm the next day.
The Gran Maze at Coconut Creek is also referred to as a human maze. This giant labyrinth is about the size of a football field. Whether you go through the maze and checkpoints as a family or split up and compete, you’ll want to go more than once to improve your time. The four checkpoints are named for tropical islands. Because they are up a flight of stairs, you can get a nice view if you want to strategize your next moves. There are a number of emergency exits if you give up, but unless you’ve purchased an all day pass or an annual pass you’ll have to pay to get back in.
There is also an observation deck that goes above the entrance and exit to the maze. If you’re like us, your kids will want to go through the maze at least 2 more times after you’ve had enough. The observation deck is just the place to sit down and enjoy a little shade or to stand and watch or coach your kids.

The two mini golf courses at Coconut Creek wind around and through beautiful tropical landscaping, a giant pond with live fish and lots of colorful animals. Many of the animals are life size.
Watch out for the alligator! (My daughter just couldn’t resist this shot). Bring along a camera for some fun pictures. It’s a great deal for young families, because pre-school aged kids are free. We’ve found that the little ones are delighted to get the ball in the hole whether they hit it in or pick it up, carry it and drop it in.
