Condos for Rent on the West End

There are many condos for rent in Panama City Beach. For those wanting to avoid the crowds at high rise buildings, some of the off beach complexes on the west end of town would suit you well. Three affordable complexes you may wish to consider are Portside, Horizon South and Beachwalk.

Portside has only 2 bedroom 1.5 bath units that sleep 6. They are divided into front, middle and back units. The back ones are farthest from the beach and the lowest priced. They have 3 pools, one with a beautiful cascading waterfall, a kiddie pool, tennis courts and shuffleboard.

Horizon South is a good choice for larger families because it has some 3 bedroom units. It is easily recognized by the distinctive triangular roof lines. This complex stretches all the way from Front Beach Road to Panama City Beach Parkway, so before you rent you may wish to see where your unit is located. They have 4 pools and tennis courts.

Beachwalk is probably the least expensive of the three. The 2 story town homes all have 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths and sleep 6. Beachwalk is configured so that the front units are on the road going around the pool and shuffleboard and the back units are on the road going around the tennis court. There is a footbridge at the back of the complex allowing easy walking access to the beach. Before you rent, you’ll want to decide if you prefer a poolside unit or one that is three minutes closer to the beach when walking.
