Whether you're looking for a sit down meal, take out or even a snack, you're sure to find something to satisfy at Pier Park!  If you'd like a sit down restaurant, some of the national chain and franchise restaurants include Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Buffalo Wild Wings and Red Robin. In addition there are numerous other restaurants such as: Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville This restaurant features live entertainment and in the evening transforms in to a night club atmosphere with live bands and dancing. Already this new restaurant is a popular place. With both indoor and outdoor seating, it's a great place to enjoy a sunset over the Gulf of Mexico while dining on a wide selection ranging from appetizers to sandwiches to seafood.
Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House and Reggae J's Island Grill Both of these restaurants are owned and operated by the Southern Restaurant Group. Back Porch features seafood in a family friendly environment. Reggae J's features food prepared with a Caribbean flair. They also feature outdoor seating on the roof for wonderful views of the Gulf and live entertainment on the weekends.
Guy Harvey's Island Grill This restaurant features seafood and steaks as well as sandwiches and burgers. Conservationists will appreciate this restaurant because their seafood menu excludes over exploited and threatened species. Part of the profits also supports the Guy Harvey Research Institute at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The restaurant is decorated with the art of marine wildlife artist Guy Harvey. The art is also available for sale. 
Tootsies Orchid Lounge The original Nashville area eatery is famous for the many Nashville stars that got a start performing there. Like the original, the building is orchid making it very easy to spot. This new establishment in Pier Park is sure to draw it more aspiring musicians. Mom checked it out and she thought the serving size was huge. If you'd like something less formal there are a number of restaurants where you order at the counter. Unlike fast food places, many items are made to order, so expect to wait a bit before picking up your food. Many offer both indoor and outdoor dining in as well as carry out. Well known chains include Panara Bread and Red Brick Pizza. Bootleg Barbeque This is a small locally owned eatery. The owners are Josh and Karen Daugherty. They feature pork ribs and pulled pork and instead of traditional bread or rolls they serve Mother Marie's Cheese Toast. The meat is smoked right in the restaurant and served with the sauce on the side. If you want great barbeque that's not all sauce this is the place to find it. There is limited dine in seating or you can carry it out as well.
 
Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries is a chain that is fairly new to the Florida area. The red and white décor and the stacks of bags of potatoes give this eatery a bright and unique casual feel. It also has indoor seating available. Hana Japan Hana Japan has limited indoor seating. They offer made to order stir fry dishes as well as ready made sushi. If you'd prefer a sit down Japanese meal, try Mikato Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar on Front Beach Road.
Snacks & Treats If you just want a snack, check out the specialty food shops in Pier Park. There are shops featuring candy, cookies, pretzels, chocolates, ice cream, popcorn, smoothies and coffee. Among the more well known names are Starbucks Coffee, Marble Slab Creamery and Great American Cookie.
