Movie theaters have arrived in Pier Park. The Grand Theatre is operated by Southern Theatres, LLC. This state of the art theater features sixteen wall to wall screens with stadium seating for 3200, digital sound, and high back rocker seats. It goes without saying that there are concessions available as well as a game room. The thing that stood out most to our kids was the reclining seats. If you want to enjoy the latest movies in a wonderful setting, this is the place to go.

What? You haven’t been to a movie since Junior was born? Families with young children will appreciate the Tuesday BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby) matinees. Lighting is maintained at half level and parents are encouraged to bring their babies. We can’t guarantee you won’t get distracted by your little ones, but it’s great to have a chance to enjoy a movie on your vacation without worrying about babysitting or disturbing the rest of the crowd.

Planning a group event for your family reunion or youth retreat? The theater is available for private screenings of any movies currently playing. Other films can be obtained and shown for an additional cost. Imagine choosing an inspirational or meaningful film and seeing it with your whole group on the big screen. Birthday party packages which include use of the party room and game tokens are also available.
