Theme Parks for Family Fun
Theme Parks can be a fun way to spend a day of your family vacation. Panama City Beach has a both a water park and a marine park. The water park is seasonal, but the marine park is open about 11 months a year. There is nothing like a water park to beat the heat on a hot and sunny day. Shipwreck Island Waterpark offers everything from a children’s area to steep waterslide thrill rides. Or for those wishing to relax, how about relaxing on an inner tube in their lazy river.
A day at Gulf World Marine Park can be both educational and entertaining. Who can resist watching dolphins? Gulf World has a dolphin show and so much more. If you want to try something extra special, they also have Swim with Dolphins and Trainer for a Day programs.

Not quite amusement parks, but still great family fun are Ripley’s Believe It or Not and Zoo World Zoological Conservatory. Zoo World is home to many exotic and even some endangered animals. You won't want to miss Sydney the Giraffe. The animals and the tropical gardens are great for the animal and nature lovers in your group.
New in Panama City Beach for the 2008 summer season is Circus by the Sea. Flying High Circus is a 60 year old tradition at Florida State University. They offer evening performances, circus camp and even birthday parties.
