Training for Activities at the Destination

by Mary
(Atlanta, Georgia, USA)

Every summer my family travels from Atlanta, Georgia to a ranch outside of Tampa, Florida. It's about a 500 mile ride, extending over two days. With a six and ten-year-old, this trip is quite exhausting.

We typically rent a TV and VCR that works with a cigarette plug. We bring training videos for riding horses and throwing a lasso and educational shows rather than common kid programs. This allows them to be prepared for the upcoming activities as well as learn new skills.
