Wonderful Place to Stay...Love Driftwood!!!!

I stayed at the Driftwood Lodge back in September of 2001, right after September the 11th. The whole world was in shock and the mood somber, but the folks at the Driftwood made us feel welcome and like family at a time when I don't think anyone knew what to say or do. It was the most relaxing vacation I've ever had. They even had a family cookout on Wednesday, fun and almost reassuring in light of everything that had happened.

Last year in August, my girlfriend and I came to the Driftwood Lodge, it was as if I'd never left Panama City Beach--well, except it's grown up quite a bit!!

If you like small, quiet and clean motels, this is the place to stay. The motel is older but our room was very nice and comfortable. Also the landscaping is very pretty. This place is a gem in the middle of uninviting high rise condos. It's located at 15811 Front Beach Road.

Trust me you will love this place.
